FPS Props Sketches

Here are a couple sketches for an FPS game a couple ex-classmates are working on at school. I decided to help them out with a couple ideas for some objects, and I had enough time to sketch out a bunch of them. Edit: There’s a Unity file where you can see a couple of the lowpoly models I made for them.

Green Scarab Beetle sketches

Yesterday I did a sketch as a rough concept for a 3D model he wanted to do but in the end decided to not make the beetle itself, so I’ve diced to work on it myself. Today I did some studies too, and decided to upload both sketches.

This is the first time I draw this kind of stuff.. kinda like it, but it’s hard to get this kind of organic stuff into correct perspective!

Here are some drawings I did today during the lunch and dinner breaks. Some are straight taken from the Metroid series, and some are variations based on that. The Metroid 25th anniversary is coming soon, so I thought I could do something about it…

Today I did a small sketch for the 3D environment I’m working on. I got another area done but I wanted to make something smaller where I could display some of the stuff I worked on.

Today I made a few simple bodies to use as a tool to know the scale of the different objects and environments I do. You might start to see them frequently from now on, so I decided to put them here :P Note that I will most likely always use the silhouette one, and the soldiers will probably never show up (too detailed for their real purpose), but hey!..

Okami Fish

I just got done with this sketch based on some fishes from Okami (å¤§ç¥ž). They are not 100% the same and the rendering style is different so I guess it’s ok to post it here.

Took me around 30 minutes.

I made a remake of the Unbalanced Robot I did a couple weeks ago. This time with some extra details and a few color patterns including military camouflage.
